This purse has inspired me to dust off my sewing machine this weekend and create something similar....I love the color combination and the foliage cut out!!!
I found this link on SuperNaturale and it has lots of good tidbits for a crafty girl like me looking to make her work a bit more polished.
WIth some of my light fixtures I have a hard time finding differnt kinds of frames to use and I think that the bike tire chandelier is a great ide...sturcturally, it could probably hold heavy crystal components too.
In a recent challenge with a co-worker to 'craft' something using a strange crystal object I found myself making a very multi-media collage. I have never really tried anything like it and I am enjoying watching it come together. I started to poke around the internet and found an artist called Nina Farana...she makes amazing collages like The Reckoning. I'll post a picture of my finished piece as soon as I am finished with it :)

Television is warfare on the mind is a random poem that I stumbled across that I like. Especially having gone without any television now for over 3 months (and counting) I see just how much time I used to give my TV...I'm free!
I have always loved the idea of paintings that take up multiple canvases and I LOVED this...I'm working on right now that isn't half as cool as this :)
